Relative Films Ltd is the Scottish based production company of Duncan Cowles, a BAFTA Scotland award winning documentary filmmaker, whose works include: The Lady with the Lamp (2012), Radio Silence (2013), Directed by Tweedie (2014), Isabella (2015), Alexithymia (2017), Taking Stock (2017), Just Agree Then (2018) & In the Company of Insects (2020).

The company was registered at the start of 2017 to facilitate the development and production of Duncan's first feature documentary Silent Men, currently supported by Screen Scotland & The Whickers. In addition to this long-term feature project Duncan has also been commissioned to make work for Channel 4, STV, BBC Scotland, BBC Radio 4, TED, Adobe, Red Bull Media House and more.
